My old bank account is closed. Will I still receive my refund?
Yes, you will still receive your refund. Most UK Banks use the Current Account Switch Service to ensure a seamless refund process even if your old bank account is closed. If your refund doesn't show within 7 working days, please contact your bank and query this.
Can the refund be sent to my new account by Kitlocker?
No. For security and software reasons, we can only refund transactions to the account used for the original transaction. This ensures a secure and reliable refund process.
What if my bank doesn't use the Current Account Switch Service?
If your bank provider does not use the switch service, your refund will be held in your old bank's suspense account. Who should manually redirect the funds based on the information your new bank has provided within 7 working days.
If this doesn't occur or you encounter difficulties, promptly contact your old bank. They will assist in verifying your details and redirecting the funds to your current account, ensuring a smooth resolution. They should have no issues redirecting the funds to the correct account once your details are verified.
